Parents.... Cornerstones of our life!!!

Parents....
The cornerstones of one's life...

           These are the people who bring us in this world, who make us whatever good we become in our lives. They keep the building blocks of our life from the time when we could do nothing on our own and our parents become our pillars of life. Those are the only defaults that we can count upon in the worst of situations. They are the people who have made innumerable sacrifices to bring us up. They knew our needs and fulfilled them each time before we actually knew. Not only that we get immense support from them whenever and wherever we want. If we look back and see what our parents have done for us it would be unbelievable, because we cannot even count what our parents do for us.
           The irony is that we never ever say thank you to our parents for what they have given us. May be we never think of doing that, because we take them for granted in our lives. But, think what pleasure they will get from an expression of love and gratitude from us. That pleasure would be immense. So, friends whenever you feel like you should sit down for a while with your parents and express to them your love for them and just say thank you for whatever they have done for you.
           This is the easiest part... Also as a grown up a child we should take up the responsibility towards our parents and be with them the same way they have been with us. We must give your parents a chance to feel proud of us... The satisfaction you would get would be gr8.
           I would repeat the lines of one song from a Bollywood movie:
     Yeh toh sach hai ke Bhagwan hai, hai magar phir bhi anjaan hai,
     Dharti pe roop Maa-Baap ka, uss Vidhata ki pehchan hai...

Idea of Sccess in life!!!

            Success ..... is supposed to have different meanings to every individual. some think it of as materialistic , some in terms of money, some in terms of just leading a normal life. But do we think what after u achieve your so called 'success'... The answer would be , NO, we do not , but it is inherent that we mark another thing as our idea of success.. Actually we tend to brand our short-term and long-term goals as our idea of Success..
            I would rather believe : "Success is a journey, not a destination". In this journey one gets to learn a lot many things. This journey has multiple flavours .Its happy , sad, eventful, adventurous etc etc. But everyone carries out this journey in individual capacities.One of the very crucial part of this journey is something called "failure". Edison found the material for bulb in thousandth attempt. After he shared his discovery what the world, someone said that now there is no difference between Edison's and his knowledge about bulbs. On the Edison said that "I know 999 more materials from which bulb could not be made which you dont know"... What an irony. It is well said "Failures are your best teacher".. The more you know easier would be your journey.
            Your Goals are the milestones of your journey which give you immense pleasure upon reaching.More the goals you set for yourself , and more you achieve ,higher would be your degree of success.For this one needs a lot of inspiration. Even small things can inspire you for success.... Look around in your room....
Roof says --> Aim High,
Fan says --> Be Cool,
Clock says --> Don't waste time,
Mirror says --> Reflect b4 you act,
Calender says --> Be-up-to-date, and,
Door says --> Push hard to achieve your goals.
            So friends, get a clear idea of success in life and plan your journey accordingly and keep inspiring yourself and others in life...

cheers!!!
YoursRohit!!!

A leaf out of my life in Mumbai

Life...Zindagi ke bahut rang hain. Yeh kabhi khushi deti hai toh kabhi gum...

            Off late my life has been full of memories... Basically my life in Mumbai... It has been an year in Mumbai ,an year after i joined my first job, an year since I entered into a new phase of life.. In short it has been one year since i had joined my job in the IT industry. During this year I have seen a lot of change in my life as well as my surroundings.
            I still remember the last days in college when we used to wonder as to how we are going to handle this change. Although I was very confident of myself but there was an element of nervousness. Along with is feeling and enthusiasm of a new life there was the sadness of leaving home and friends and college and all that was part of the student life. It was a mixed bag of emotions which I filled for myself. AND with that bag of emotions and with lots of expectations I left home for a NEW BEGINNING.
            The first day at office I saw all new faces around me and there was a lot of eagerness to know and learn things .But nevertheless I felt cozy in this new surrounding and the welcome to the company was very good.
            Then began the process of transformation... from the college-goers to office-goers, from students to professionals, from college bus to office bus, from casual to formal dressing, from college rules to company processes and a lot more. The mode of learning was the same ‘by name’ in the beginning but in college we used to study to pass the exams and here we studied to groom ourselves for a better career, to fulfill our dreams and aspirations. The transformation process was big but smooth. The pleasure which it gave was immense.
            Along with this professionalism one thing I got for free was the life of Mumbai... The life here I heard was too fast and a bit difficult. But I found it very good. It is of course fast but not difficult. I enjoyed every bit it offered me. All the so called tougher things, the crowded buses, the packed local trains and the huge traffic all had one thing to offer- A challenge. I took up the challenge and it in turn made life much easier in terms of living in Mumbai. This fast paced city all the time inspires to be fast and stay abreast with time and help you get transformed in a fast and furious force which is invincible and unstoppable. The routine inspires you to never say die. This all happens if the hardships are taken positively. It may be a good example of Darwin's theory of ‘survival of the fittest’.
            On personal grounds the life in the as a whole in this past one year has made me but a more mature and I have become a bit more responsible towards life. I have started taking a lot of pleasure in the day to day challenges at work as well as in life in general. Now I have a clearer picture of my capabilities and my weaknesses. I thought it was very well said "Life is your best teacher" and you enjoy the most in this kind of learning.
            Life is indeed very beautiful, only if you can sight it...

Cheers!!!
YoursRohit...
