Parents.... Cornerstones of our life!!!

Parents....
The cornerstones of one's life...

These are the people who bring us in this world, who make us whatever good we become in our lives. They keep the building blocks of our life from the time when we could do nothing on our own and our parents become our pillars of life. Those are the only defaults that we can count upon in the worst of situations. They are the people who have made innumerable sacrifices to bring us up. They knew our needs and fulfilled them each time before we actually knew. Not only that we get immense support from them whenever and wherever we want. If we look back and see what our parents have done for us it would be unbelievable, because we cannot even count what our parents do for us.
The irony is that we never ever say thank you to our parents for what they have given us. May be we never think of doing that, because we take them for granted in our lives. But, think what pleasure they will get from an expression of love and gratitude from us. That pleasure would be immense. So, friends whenever you feel like you should sit down for a while with your parents and express to them your love for them and just say thank you for whatever they have done for you.
This is the easiest part... Also as a grown up a child we should take up the responsibility towards our parents and be with them the same way they have been with us. We must give your parents a chance to feel proud of us... The satisfaction you would get would be gr8.
I would repeat the lines of one song from a Bollywood movie:
Yeh toh sach hai ke Bhagwan hai, hai magar phir bhi anjaan hai,
Dharti pe roop Maa-Baap ka, uss Vidhata ki pehchan hai...

  2. I guess Rohit,u r right..How many times have we stopped over and thought for a moment abt the pain n sacrife our parents have had to make for us..Its assertiveness when we cry and weakness when they do it..
Its important and necessary when it comes to our inflated desires and
luxurious and unworthy when it comes to fulfilling their petty ones...

They live their entire life thinking and working for our happiness,so much so that they forget their own..

It is said that there comes 2 stages in life of a person when maximum care and nurture needs to be showered:infancy and old age..

We need to give our parents as good as we get,in fact even more..

We must view it as an opportunity to shower ample love, care n affection on our parents who have made us to stand up on our feet.

So lets never leave them to live on crutches...

Instead let us vow to become their strongest support and pillars of hope...

    Take Care :)
